Each journey requires preparation. When you plan your journey with your four legged family member to/from the Continent via the Eurotunnel / Le Shuttle the key aspect is that you make sure your fur baby has got all the required documents to cross the UK/French border.
You need to be at the Eurotunnel / Le Shuttle Pet Reception 1 hour before your Eurotunnel crossing. At the Pet Reception the documents of your pet will be checked and the microchip will be scanned.
Please find below a link to the Le Shuttle (Eurotunnel) Pet Compliance checklist:

Please click on each requirement for further information.
Please note our driver will assist you at the Pet Reception.
If you ensure you have all the required documents for your pet and that your pet’s documents are correctly completed, the visit at the Pet Reception will be smooth and will take no more than 5 minutes. Then you will be able to leave the Pet Reception and proceed to the border controls.
Enjoy your journey!
